Gui provided exceptional video and photography services for our wedding, capturing our day in a way that we will appreciate forever. Leading up to the day, he made everything easy for us and listened to and accommodated our every request. He suggested poses and made sure to capture all of the important details so that we could focus on the ceremony and reception. The end product (photos, teaser video and full length video) would not have been better. He is a consummate professional, an exceedingly nice person, and we can't imagine having survived our wedding day without him. We HIGHLY recommend Gui for your photography and videography needs!

We discovered Gui on Zola and reached out because of his experience with photographing marriages for various cultures and from various backgrounds. Gui's photographs also caught our eye as there were great candid shots to capture the moment and sweet posed ones. When we met with Gui over zoom to get to know each other, he was kind, responsive, and knowledgable. Gui helped put us at ease, and it was a fairly quick decision to go with him after we met. On the day of the wedding, Gui was prompt and punctual. We took a few shots before the ceremony. During the ceremony, Gui captured all the key moments, but we also received compliments from our guests that he did not distract or take away from teh ceremony. Gui did great with the family photos and was very gracious in the many photos with friends during the reception. We cannot recommend Gui enough. His demeanor helped to relieve any stress around the photos both during the engagement session and the wedding. Gui's experience with many different couples has helped him develop cultural sensitivity which he uses to capture and highlight the unique moments of their ceremony. It was mine and my fiancé’s first time taking professional photos and honestly I was really nervous because I’m not a very photogenic person, but Gui’s calming presence and professionalism put us at ease, his calming voice and easy to follow instructions helped us with taking our first photos professionally, Gui’s eye for photography is amazing and the incredible shots he takes are truly an artwork. We can't recommend Gui enough. We reached out to Gui to photograph/video our wedding, and everything came out really amazing! We met a few times prior to the wedding via zoom and he was really responsive and communicative, and open to ideas for photos and videos. On the day of the wedding he showed up early and was fun to work with. We were amazed out how much he was able to accomplish by himself. At one point he started asking wedding guests to record a few words for us, which was just an amazing and unexpected part of the video which we really appreciated. We will definitely be reaching out to Gui for future photo shoots!

I contacted Gui about a very last minute wedding shoot and he made the whole experience very comfortable and natural for everyone. He drove out to Malibu to take shots of our special day and did an amazing job. I changed the time slot to an earlier hour and he had no problem coming earlier. And we ran a little longer than I thought which he was completely okay with. He has good camera equipment and a good eye and great prices. I would highly recommend Gui!

We tried searching for a wedding photographer, and despite the short notice, Gui accepted the gig without hesitation. We aren't really used to pose for the camera, but Gui was there to guide us. He was on top of everything and knew what he was doing. He is very professional, polite, and easy to work with. We needed somewhat a last minute photographer for our wedding. Glad we found Gui! His price was very reasonable and his services are superb. Gui was very patient with us and wasn’t pushy unlike other photographers. He was open to our ideas and made sure our requests were fulfilled. The finished product we got the following week were outstanding. It was also a nice (and sweet) touch that he threw in a Wedding Card congratulating us for our nuptials. He was excellent, followed my wishes exactly. I had a very casual informal wedding on my patio, and he mingled with the guests and produced an excellent variety of pictures. I recommend him very highly.
